Tooling Drafter

General Description:
Transform initial rough product designs using computer aided design (CAD) into working documents. Reviews engineering drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instruction and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of this job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job junctions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.

- Assigned to small projects or discreet tasks with functional discipline

Typical Educational Requirements:
- AA/AS degree w/0-3+ years experience
- BA/BS degree w/0-1+ years experience

Software Requirements:
- CATIA V4 a plus
