POSITION DETAILS for SYSTEMS ENGINEER
Identify ways to reduce overall VL system costs.
Create documentation required to support our solutions when handed off to MFG or Implementation.
Work with other groups in making sure their requirements are understood and integrated efficiently.
Recommend new features, technologies, upgrades, and patches that will reduce manufacturing and on-site deployments times.
Team member for maintaining evolution plan for audio and video core network.
Debug and perform hardware analysis with lab bench equipment.
Experience:
Excellent problem solving and communication skills, along with the ability to work both independently, and as part of a cross-functional team.
Working knowledge of network architectures, MPEG, switching circuits, computer networks, communication systems and data structures.
Working knowledge of video based buses such as: DVI, RGB, S-Video, HDSI (720p & 1080p).
Familiarity with ITU or 3GPP multimedia standards (H324, H223, H245, etc.)
Familiarity with multimedia codecs (MPEG-4, H2.64, etc.)
Gathering business and architect requirements, documenting and implementing network solutions.
Working knowledge of software tools for performance monitoring and network troubleshooting.
Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Project, CAD and Visio. |
